The DAISY Award is a nationwide program that rewards and celebrates the extraordinary clinical skill and compassionate care given by nurses everyday. St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center is proud to be a DAISY Award Hospital Partner, recognizing one of our nurses with this special honor every month.

Employee Service Awards

Every year, the Office of Employee Experience and Human Resources organizes and hosts the Employee Service Awards to recognize milestone years of service. For more information, contact HR at 448-5575. In addition, managers are notified about milestone service marks through a message from HR and given a voucher for a corsage (from the gift shop) for the employee to wear on the day to mark the occasion.

Sister Patricia Ann Awards

St. Joseph’s Sister Patricia Ann Award is given annually to a physician, nurse and an employee, who exemplify the core values of excellence and stewardship. Winners are honored at a ceremony each March. The nursing and employee winners each receive $500 and a plaque. The physician winner will have his/her name engraved on a plaque that is displayed in the physicians’ lounge.

Leadership in Franciscan Tradition

This award ceremony is scheduled during the first week of October to coincide with St. Francis’ Feast Day on October 4. It honors a St. Joseph’s leader who, inspired by the spirit of St. Francis and St. Clare of Assisi, is an example to all as a servant leader. Healthcare Week
