The time-away-from-work benefit includes paid time off (PTO), 6 core holidays, 1 floating holiday, and compensation for short-term disability and long-term disability. Specific PTO and disability benefits are determined by position.
PTO Cash Out
(Accural Plans Only)
You may have the option to cash-out a certain amount of your unused PTO each year.
Medical Coverage
Our parent company, Trinity Health, offers three medical plan options, including a Health Savings Plan. Each plan offers three tiers and allows enrollees to pay less by receiving care from network providers.
Dental Coverage
Vision Coverage
Health Savings Account (HSA)
When you enroll in the Health Savings Plan, you automatically have a Health Savings Account (HSA) administered by HealthEquity to help you pay for current or future health care costs. In addition to your own personal contributions (subject to IRS limits), Trinity Health will make a full contribution to your account based on the coverage level you elect.
HEALTH CARE AND DEPENDENT CARE FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS (FSA)
Enrollees can set aside before-tax money to offset eligible health care or dependent care expenses. These FSAs are available for both our enrollees and their dependents.
ESSENTIAL ASSIST PLAN (EAP)
The Essential Assist Plan (“Assist Plan”) is available to enrollees who meet certain income and eligibility requirements. It is the same as the Essential Plan for health care, but it includes a Trinity Health-funded Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) to help cover health care costs at the time of service.
CHILDREN’S EYE CARE PROGRAM
Dependent children under the age of 13 can receive both a second eye exam each calendar year and coverage for an additional pair of glasses if their prescription changes (.5 or larger diopter).
National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program
The National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program (LRP) offers student-loan repayment options to primary medical, dental, and mental and behavioral health care clinicians who provide care in communities with limited access.
Life Insurance
If eligible, enrollees receive employer-provided basic life/AD&D insurance at 1x your annual
base salary. There is also an option to purchase supplemental coverage.
Live Your Whole Life Program
Through Trinity Health’s Live Your Whole Life well-being initiative, you and your covered partner have access to tools and resources to help you better understand, maintain and improve your health and well-being.
